From starting as a collective producing music for Fricky’s latest album, Horizon Inn—one of the most acclaimed albums of 2023, earning three Grammis nominations and two P3 Guld nominations—the group realized that the musical synergy they had discovered was too powerful not to turn into a full-fledged band.

 

Now, for the first time, they are performing under a shared banner as The Desktoppers.

Musically, they let the flow dictate every next step. With atmospheric soundscapes colliding with pounding drums and bass in true krautrock style, they create a world that evokes both warmth and melancholy.
