KURT., formerly known as BLENDA, was signed to Pharrell Williams’ Star Trak and Def Jam in 2019 before the pandemic brought her back to Sweden. There, she became a mother and founded the creative studio and management company FOLK, where she has worked with artists such as Deki Alem and Swedish House Mafia.

In 2024, she made a comeback as KURT – a bold, experimental persona inspired by a cartoon character her daughter named KURT. The new EP Got Shit On My Pants ACT II blends alternative pop, dance, and classic Chicago house, while also challenging norms around gender, race, and artistic freedom.
